Petrol hike & the UPA
The petrol hike on 23rd & 24th midnight of May 2012 was inevitable, but the kind of pressure it has got on the general public is beyond the imagination of the governing forces..
The general public which commutes on two wheeler is the one which is hit hard. The middle class whom you gave easy credit to buy cars and who is living life to pay EMIs will be the sufferer.
I don't think The PM or FM has given money to buy petrol for their cars in decades. They have burdened people with taxes on the fuel.
To top it all the money collected by doing all this is spent on the foreign jaunts of the President & the speaker of the house - ( The speaker who never speaks anything other than Baith jaiye Baith jaiye ) .
Above all the decision to hike prices of fuel was taken after the session of Parliament ended - That to after giving so much samman to the SP leader - Mulayam Singh Yadav !
